Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Wayrove ("Service"), operated by LiveLife LLC, doing business as Wayrove ("Wayrove," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including but not limited to account holders, venue owners and event hosts ("Hosts"), and guests or attendees who interact with the Service through public booking pages, RSVP forms, or embedded widgets ("Guests").
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Service
Wayrove is a web-based platform that provides tools for interactive experiences, event management, and property reservations. The Service includes:
- Quest creation and management tools, including AI-powered content generation
- Player participation, response tracking, and scoring functionality
- Event creation, RSVP management, and ticketing tools
- Property and venue management and booking tools (property management system)
- An embeddable booking and RSVP widget for third-party websites
- Integration with third-party payment providers (Stripe, Square, PayPal) connected by Hosts
- Guest directory and communication tools for Hosts
3. Platform Role & Relationship
WAYROVE IS A TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM. We provide software tools that enable Hosts to manage events, venues, bookings, and RSVPs. We are not a party to any agreement or transaction between Hosts and Guests.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Wayrove does not own, operate, manage, or control any venue, property, or event listed on the platform
- Wayrove does not act as an agent for any Host or Guest
- Wayrove makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any venue, event, or listing
- Hosts are solely responsible for their listings, pricing, availability, cancellation policies, and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Any agreement for a booking or RSVP is solely between the Host and the Guest
- Wayrove is not responsible for the performance or non-performance of any Host or Guest
4. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental consent. Certain features of the Service, including listing a venue or hosting a paid event, require that you be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
5. Venue Owner & Event Host Terms
If you use the Service to list a venue, manage a property, or host an event ("Host"), the following additional terms apply:
- You warrant that you have the legal authority to list and accept bookings or RSVPs for the properties and events you manage through the Service
- You are solely responsible for setting and honoring your own cancellation and refund policies, which must be clearly communicated to Guests before they complete a booking or RSVP
- When you connect a payment provider (Stripe, Square, or PayPal) through the Service, you are the merchant of record for all resulting transactions and must comply with that payment provider's terms of service
- You are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes, fees, permits, and licenses required by your jurisdiction
- You must not use Guest data collected through the Service for purposes beyond fulfilling the specific booking or event relationship, unless the Guest provides separate consent
- You are responsible for ensuring that your listings, descriptions, photos, and pricing are accurate, current, and not misleading
- You agree to respond to Guest inquiries and booking/RSVP requests in a timely manner
We reserve the right to suspend or remove listings, or restrict Host access, if we determine that a Host has violated these Terms, applicable law, or has engaged in conduct that is harmful to Guests or the integrity of the platform.
6. Guest Terms
If you use the Service to make a booking, submit an RSVP, or purchase a ticket ("Guest"), the following additional terms apply, whether or not you create a Wayrove account:
- By submitting a booking or RSVP, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- You acknowledge that your personal information (name, email, phone, and any other information you provide) will be shared with the Host for the purpose of fulfilling your reservation or RSVP
- Cancellation and refund policies are set by each individual Host, not by Wayrove. You are responsible for reviewing the Host's cancellation policy before completing a booking or RSVP
- Any disputes regarding a booking or event should be directed to the Host first. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the Host, you may contact Wayrove support for assistance, but Wayrove is under no obligation to mediate or resolve disputes between Hosts and Guests
- You agree to provide accurate information when making a booking or RSVP and to comply with any rules or requirements set by the Host
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Collect user information without consent
- Create fraudulent listings, bookings, or RSVPs
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create using Wayrove ("User Content"), including but not limited to quest content, event descriptions, venue listings, photos, and other materials. By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring your User Content:
- Does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- Is appropriate for all ages if shared publicly
- Does not contain confidential information you are not authorized to share
- Is accurate and not misleading (particularly for venue listings and event descriptions)
9. Payments
9A. Wayrove Platform Subscription
Wayrove offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:
- Subscription payments are processed by our billing partner, Whop, who acts as the merchant of record for subscription transactions
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Prices may change with 30 days notice
Subscription Cancellation
When you cancel your Wayrove subscription:
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No prorated refunds are provided for unused time in the current period
- Your plan will automatically downgrade to Free at the end of the billing period
- You may resubscribe at any time to regain access to premium features
Subscription Refund Policy
We generally do not offer refunds for subscription fees. However, we may consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
- Service issues: If a significant technical issue prevents you from using the Service for an extended period
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error
- First-time subscribers: We may offer a courtesy refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment if you are genuinely unsatisfied
To request a subscription refund, please contact us at support@wayrove.com with your account details and reason for the request.
One-Time Purchases (Player Packs)
Player Pack purchases are non-refundable once applied to a quest. The additional players remain available on the quest indefinitely, regardless of your subscription status.
9B. Booking & RSVP Payments (BYOP)
Wayrove enables Hosts to accept payments from Guests by connecting their own payment provider account (Stripe, Square, or PayPal) through the Service ("Bring Your Own Payment" or "BYOP"). The following terms apply to all booking and RSVP payments:
- Payments flow directly between the Guest and the Host's merchant account. Wayrove does not receive, hold, or process payment funds on behalf of either party
- Wayrove does not process, store, or have access to full payment card numbers. Card data is tokenized by the Host's payment provider (Stripe, Square, or PayPal) and never passes through Wayrove's servers
- The Host is the merchant of record for all booking and RSVP payments and is solely responsible for refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and compliance with the payment provider's terms
- Cancellation and refund policies for bookings and RSVPs are determined exclusively by the Host. Wayrove has no control over and assumes no liability for a Host's cancellation or refund decisions
- Payment disputes are between the Guest, the Host, and the applicable payment provider. While Wayrove may assist with technical issues related to the platform, we are not responsible for resolving payment disputes
Platform Service Fees
Wayrove charges a service fee on booking and RSVP transactions processed through the platform. The standard service fee is $2.50 per transaction. Hosts may choose to absorb this fee (deducted from their payout) or pass it to the Guest (added as a visible line item at checkout). When passed to the Guest, the service fee will be clearly shown in the price breakdown before payment. Wayrove reserves the right to adjust the standard service fee amount with at least 30 days written notice.
10. AI-Generated Content
Our Service includes AI-powered features for generating quest content and other materials. You understand that:
- AI-generated content should be reviewed before use
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI outputs
- You are responsible for content you publish, including AI-generated content
- AI usage is subject to fair use limits based on your plan
11. Embedded Widget
Wayrove provides an embeddable widget that allows Hosts to display booking and RSVP functionality on their own websites. By using the widget:
- Hosts are responsible for ensuring that their website complies with all applicable laws, including privacy and data protection laws, when embedding the Wayrove widget
- Hosts must include appropriate disclosures on their website informing visitors that the widget is powered by Wayrove and that use is subject to Wayrove's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Widget use is subject to these Terms. Wayrove may modify, suspend, or discontinue the widget at any time
12. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by LiveLife LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Wayrove name, logo, and product names are trademarks of LiveLife LLC. You may not use these without our prior written consent.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO VENUE LISTINGS, EVENT DESCRIPTIONS, PRICING, AVAILABILITY, OR INFORMATION PROVIDED BY HOSTS OR GUESTS.
WAYROVE DOES NOT ENDORSE, WARRANT, OR GUARANTEE ANY VENUE, EVENT, HOST, OR GUEST. YOU USE THE SERVICE AND PARTICIPATE IN ANY BOOKINGS, RSVPS, OR TRANSACTIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVELIFE LLC (D/B/A WAYROVE) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF:
- YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
- ANY TRANSACTION OR RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN A HOST AND A GUEST
- ANY CONTENT OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT
- ANY BOOKING, RSVP, PAYMENT, REFUND, OR CANCELLATION PROCESSED THROUGH THE SERVICE
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00 USD).
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LiveLife LLC (d/b/a Wayrove), its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of or access to the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation
- Any transaction, agreement, or dispute between you and another user (whether Host or Guest)
- Your User Content or any content you provide through the Service
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
- Any claim by a third party arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to claims related to personal injury, property damage, or violations of data protection laws
16. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceeding, you agree to first contact us at legal@wayrove.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved quickly and to your satisfaction during this period.
Binding Arbitration
If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, you and Wayrove agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (including the enforceability of this arbitration provision) shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in Salt Lake County, Utah, or at another mutually agreed location. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND WAYROVE AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Unless both you and Wayrove agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate or join more than one person's or party's claims.
Exceptions
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
17. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request export of your data before account deletion. For Hosts, termination does not relieve you of your obligations to Guests with existing confirmed bookings or RSVPs.
18. Force Majeure
Neither Wayrove nor any user shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, wars, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, or other force majeure events.
19. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration provision above, any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LiveLife LLC (d/b/a Wayrove) regarding your use of the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
